This event is an official event of Detroit Month of Design. We'll celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black women in architecture and community building, both in Michigan and nationwide.

Inspiring Conversations: Engage with trailblazing Black women leaders in architecture as they share their personal career journeys, visions for inclusive design, and strategies for empowering the next generation of Black women architects.
"Fighting Erasure": Through dynamic Pecha Kucha presentations (20 slides presented in 20 seconds), we’ll spotlight the impact of Black women in shaping the built environment and push back against cultural erasure. Noir Design Parti is seeking architects, designers, and creative professionals to share their stories. Get the details here and help us design a legacy of visibility and celebration!
Nationwide Celebration: This brunch is part of a nationwide event, with simultaneous in-person and virtual gatherings taking place in 14 cities (and counting). The virtual portion will be hosted from Washington, DC, bringing together a diverse group of speakers and participants from across the U.S.
